Install and connect
Prepare the player, connect a workspace and put your first page on screen.
Prepare your screen
Use a Windows 10/11 64-bit computer or an Android device, including Android TV. Obtain the IoT Devices client and workspace details from your project contact. Check the package checksum supplied with the release.
Cloud registration and remote commands require a network connection to the configured platform. Auto-start requires permission to configure startup. On Android TV, check the system WebView version and test the intended content.
From installation to first playback
- On Windows, extract the complete package and keep the console and player directories together. Start console/console.exe. On Android, install the supplied APK and open the app.
- Record the device ID shown by the client. Enter the assigned workspace ID, save it and wait for device registration. Confirm that the device appears in the project console.
- Select a display region and send a reachable web address. Check the image, sound and orientation on the physical screen. Enable startup recovery and test a restart before unattended use.
Workspace and control access
Workspace membership determines cloud access. A six-digit device control code can authorize remote control where enabled; replacing it invalidates the old code. Disabling code access restricts control to authorized workspace members. Keep these details with the installation handover.
